Thank you for your interest in joining Paradigm Housing
Thank you for your interest in these roles at Paradigm, this is a great time to join our board as we grow as an organisation.
Paradigm Housing Group is one of the Southeast’s leading housing providers, managing over 16,000 homes across 30 local authorities with a turnover of c£150m. Headquartered near High Wycombe and Beaconsfield, we are both a charity and a registered provider of social housing, employing over 520 people.
We have retained the highest possible rating (G1/V1) for Governance and Financial Viability by the Regulator of Social Housing, following our recent In-Depth Assessment, and Standard & Poor’s has confirmed our long term credit issuer rating as A+. The development of our Sustainability Financing Framework enabled us to issue an initial £350m sustainability bond. We are in a strong position to continue our focus on providing excellent customer services and building more homes for people who need them.
We are a growing organisation, with an aim to develop over 2000 homes over 5 years, and we are also focussing on building strong local partnerships in order to enable us to deliver better and more efficient services to our customers. To support our consolidation in our core operating areas, in March 2021, we were successful in completing the largest home swap in the sector’s history, taking 1,338 homes from Guinness, mainly in the Wycombe, Welwyn, Hatfield and Milton Keynes areas and transferring 1,133 homes in Hillingdon and Hounslow. More recently in March 2022, we have also acquired 320 homes from One Housing.
This is a very exciting time to be joining the board at Paradigm. Our objective is that Paradigm should be an exemplar organisation in our sector, and we have ambitious plans for growth. Our 5-year Corporate Plan sets out a clear vision for the organisation, including commitments to provide excellent services and support for our most vulnerable customers, as well as investment to reduce the carbon emissions of our homes to net zero by 2050 and address fuel poverty. To help us achieve these objectives, we are also embarking on a significant transformation programme and investing in new core IT and digital solutions.
In our new three Board Members we are looking for individuals who bring experience from the housing sector as well as skills in Treasury, Investment and a background in Customer / Operational services respectively. Our organisation, and the sector as a whole, is facing challenges such as rising inflation and cost of living as well as commitments to the environment, so it is vital that we have a strong board to lead us through these periods of uncertainty.
Paradigm is an ambitious organisation, with highly engaged colleagues and established set of core values. We combine this with an expectation of professionalism, a commitment to excellence, and an open culture in which we debate future challenges and opportunities, and we are constantly looking for better ways to achieve our objectives.
If you would like to be part of our ambitious journey, we would welcome an application from you.
